The Golden Tip: A Handy Hack for a Smooth Install
Installation could be a bit of a pickle due to the close proximity of the exhaust pipe to the mounting point, requiring some out-of-the-box thinking. Fret not, for we’ve got a golden tip to save the day. Grab that neglected 8-millimeter hex from your old furniture kit, give it a little trim, and voila, you have the perfect tool to fasten the bolt without having to remove the muffler.
Put an 8-millimeter hex in the Vise and cut a small piece of it off. You did that so that when the bolt is in the hole there's a piece right here. We plan on just sliding the tip which exposes just enough for you to take the eight-millimeter wrench get it in there and tighten it down so don't forget your blue Loctite.

You're just going to slide the crash bar over line up the two holes and take your eight-millimeter bolts. Then put some Loctite on it and screw it down and then you're just going to screw into the slider at the end and that's it.

So, are you ready to give your bike the ultimate makeover with the crash bar?
